In 1989, on a quiet road in rural Minnesota, 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling is abducted by a masked gunman. The case remains shrouded in mystery for decades, until a courageous sexual-assault survivor, a citizen journalist, and Jacob’s unshakable parents demand action. After the case reaches a devastating conclusion, they are all left to question what “closure” really means.
Echoes in the Night focuses on the family’s ceaseless search for answers, the work they’ve done in Jacob’s memory to change the way missing children cases are investigated and resolved.
